Hi there,
Welcome to Day 4 of the Summer Sleep Reset. I realize the email that got sent out yesterday also said Day 4 even though it was Day 3..
(thanks a lot Mercury
Retrograde!) Anyways...
It’s like 100 degrees outside for much of the country. Children in Gaza are starving. The news feels unbearable most days. And if you’re wondering why even bother caring about sleep right now, I hear you.
But here’s what I keep coming back to:
We were born in this timeline for a reason.
And if we want to be part of the answer, not part of the noise, or the burnout, or the collapse, we have to be resourced enough to show up.
Being well-rested won’t fix the world
but it makes us less reactive.
It makes us more steady and creative, better listeners, parents and partners. More able to choose response over impulse.
Today’s tip: Anchor evening habit.
Pick one simple, calming thing to repeat every night. This is your anchor.
